Eryngium giganteum

A spiky thistle-like perennial with cone-shaped silver flowerheads. Its architectural shape is perfect both in the perennial border and in dried flower arrangements.

This lovely upright bushy annual
is also known as Snow-on-the-mountain. The interest is in the broad, petal-like, white bracts which surround its rather insignificant flowers.

These hardy perennials grow in compact clumps and provide handsome cut flowers. Excellent in pots. This variety flowers in August.
