The
brief for this garden was to transform a dull square of grass and concrete
terrace into a new landscape. The solution involved reusing many of
the existing concrete slabs from the path but cutting them into unusual
shapes and interspersing them with slate chunks and granite blocks,
breaking several design conventions in the process.
Repeat
grass planting ensures a minimal palette.
